Creating impact. Come with us and leave an indelible impact on the world.
What is an event without an attendee? It’s non-existent.
Yes, you can have a glorious stage, fantastic food and great entertainment, but if you’re not appealing to your audience and ensuring that those elements meet their needs and wants – what’s the point?
We all know that events are a crucial channel in which to engage with employees but there is so much more to it. When we look at creating impact at an event, first and foremost, we fundamentally need to understand the audience. What do they want? What makes them tick? What do they value and appreciate? It’s not always about the positives too. We need to understand what they fear, disagree with and dislike?
So how can we tap into these emotions to ensure a successful event?
“Many factors allow brains to be at their optimum performance, particularly over multiple days, often including early and late event. A key area where we can have an impact is in crafting appropriate environments and shared experiences.” Tahira Endean.
Successful events should leverage the positive emotions felt during a shared experience and use the traditional means of emotional marketing to ensure success of an event and attain something truly positive.
There are two types of emotions that we focus on to achieve these – active emotions and passive emotions;
- Active emotions provoke action
- Passive emotions produce inaction
- Loyalty (active)
- Serenity (passive)
- Amazement (passive)
